What we collect, and when

When you ask for a quote or book a consultation: your name, email, phone number, where you are moving from and to, your preferred dates, the size of your home, and anything you tell us in the notes.
If you create an account: your email address, a password (stored only as a hash — we never see it), and, if you turn it on, a two-factor secret and recovery codes, both stored encrypted.
In the customer portal: photos or video of your home and belongings that you upload, the inventory produced from them, documents you or we add to your move, and messages between you and your coordinator.
Automatically: your IP address and browser details in our server logs, which we use to keep the site secure. Page-level analytics is collected only if you allow it.

Photos you upload, and the estimator

If you use the photo or video survey to get an estimate, the images you upload are sent to Anthropic, an AI provider, so that the items in them can be recognised and priced. Please do not include documents, screens, or anything else in shot that you would not want processed this way. Your photos are stored on our own server on a private disk — they are not published, and they are not readable from a public web address.

Who else we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with services we use to run the business:

Anthropic — recognises items in estimator photos, as above.
Google — sends our email, and, if you choose “Continue with Google”, confirms your identity. Google Analytics also measures site usage, but only after you allow it.
Microsoft Azure — hosts the server, in the United States.
Adobe Acrobat Sign — only if you are asked to sign a document electronically.

Your move details are held in our own customer system, running on the same server as this website — not in a third-party CRM.

How long we keep it

Quote and move records are kept while you are a customer and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax, insurance and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and its contents at any time using the address above, and we will do so except where we are required to keep a record.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, and ask for a copy.
Ask us to correct anything wrong, or delete your account.
Allow or refuse analytics at any time — see our Cookie Policy.
Unsubscribe from any non-essential email using the link in it. We will still send messages about a move you have booked.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS only. Passwords are hashed, two-factor secrets are encrypted, and uploaded files are stored on a private disk and served only to the signed-in customer they belong to. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not ask for more than we need.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging a move. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page.
